I am asking your vote and support as the incumbent candidate to serve as ARRL Pacific Division Director going forward in 2026.
There is work to be done both here and at ARRL HQ. Yes, ARRL isn't healthy today like it should be; Yes, we have lost membership. I believe we can fix things – but it takes a confident leader who is open to new ideas, ready to work hard and collaborate with fellow board members to make things happen. We can’t improve the future by resting on the laurels of what we did 10, 20 or 40 years ago. I will be that confident open-minded leader representing the members in the Pacific Division in the 21st century.
At ARRL
I’m committed to making positive changes that benefit the everyday amateur radio operators.
- develop programs to connect new hams with local clubs
- create working solutions to get hams on the air regardless of their living space
- expand the commitment to clubs to help them better serve their members
- expand ARRL services to amateurs with disabilities and making licensing easier.
- identify successful local club membership activities, then collaborating with fellow
board members to realize them on a national scale.
In our Division
I’m committed to better connecting our members, clubs and leadership.
- work with Section Managers to empower them as our local leaders and amplify their section activities across the Division.
- make sure club activities like Hamfests and Swapmeets are being approved and
promoted by the Division and HQ
- develop tools and resources to share best practices across the Pacific Division.
I’m holding quarterly town hall meetings to hear your voice and report back to you directly our progress at HQ
In Summary
I believe our local radio clubs are the backbone of the ARRL and our hobby. I am committed to helping them grow, introducing new hams to the hobby and their local club. Working together is how we get these new hams "radio active."
I truly love this hobby. Amateur Radio Operators are some of the finest people in the world!
Supporting ARRL is a priority. ARRL needs to remains a strong advocate for promoting amateur radio and protecting our spectrum from commercial use - together we can make it happen!
Can we count on you to help make a difference in Amateur Radio?
